How to Make Air Fryer Biscuits and Gravy

sausage is sautéed for biscuits with sausage gravy

Step 1 – Make the Air Fryer Gravy

Saute the sausage in the air fryer multi cooker (or a pot on the stovetop if not using an air fryer) on a medium setting. Drain the grease before adding the other ingredients.

Add the remaining sausage gravy ingredients to the pot and stir together. Cook for a few minutes to thicken the gravy.

Step 2 – Make the Biscuits

While the sausage is cooking, in a mixing bowl combine the dry ingredients for the biscuits. Once they are combined, add in the wet ingredients.

Step 3 – Put it Together

  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • Biscuits:

  3. While the sausage gravy cooks, mix up the biscuits: in a large bowl, mix the flours, baking powder, and salt together. Then mix in the sour cream, eggs, and melted butter.
  4. Once the gravy is done cooking, drop several small spoonfuls of the biscuit dough (or six large spoonfuls) over the top of the gravy.
